Department of Psychology

The field of psychology is significant and has several applications. The department of psychology was formed in 2014 with the goal of teaching students the principles and methods of psychology. This faculty of humanities department of this institution holds a significant position. The department has benefited from the strong leadership and vision. Organizational psychology and clinical psychology are the department’s two main emphasis areas. The department has excellent experimental and psychological test equipment. There is a substantial departmental library as well. Clinical psychology, organisational psychology, health psychology, social psychology, counselling psychology, forensic psychology, educational psychology, cross-cultural psychology, and indigenous psychology are some of the areas of scientific focus. The courses place a strong focus on learning new information and developing existing abilities through theoretical comprehension and its application. After receiving their degrees, many of our students work for various institutions, hospitals, and organisations. In addition to being great scholars, our faculty member are also committed educators who have been recognised for their achievements with teaching honours. Our assistant professors are paving the way for fascinating new areas of study and research through active interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments, including those of natural science, business administration etc.
