Library has a total area of sq.ft and Fifty users can be accommodated in the library at a time. The Library has a collection of over 5371 Books.Library enhances reading habits in students by creating a learning space which is computerized by establishing Online Public Access Catalog Koha,

Membership

Membership of Library is open to all staff, students of Al Jamia College. Guest Faculties are required to fill the Library Membership form signed by Head of the Department to borrow books from Library..

Rules &
Regulations

  • Identity Card is must for Library entrance and users should record their details in the gate Register.
  • Students are allowed to take only pen and paper inside the Library.
  • Keep your bags and personal belongings at the property counter near to the entrance.
  • Silence should be maintained in the library and its immediate premises.
  • Faculty can borrow 5 books, UG Students can borrow 3 books, PG students borrow 4 books from the library.
  • The Students are requested not to replace the books in the stack. Please leave them on the Chairs placed in the stacks.
  • Borrowed Books should be returned on the due date stamped on the date label in the book. A fine of Rs. 1 will be levied if a book is detained beyond due date.
  • Renewals are allowed only once for 14 days when there is no claim by others.
  • Loss of Borrowed books/Library Cards have to be reported immediately in writing to the Librarian.
  • Reference Books and Dissertations will not be lent out.
