Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell

1. Prevention and Awareness:

• Conducting regular awareness programs, workshops, and seminars to educate  students, faculty, and staff about sexual harassment, consent, and the importance of a respectful and inclusive campus culture.

2. Support and Counseling:

• Providing confidential counseling and support services to victims of sexual harassment, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance and feel empowered to report incidents.

3. Strict Enforcement:

• Implementing and enforcing strict policies and procedures in line with legal and institutional regulations to prevent and address sexual harassment, ensuring prompt and fair action against offenders.

4. Creating a Safe Environment:

• Promoting a supportive and respectful campus atmosphere where open dialogue and mutual respect are encouraged, and all members of the community feel safe to express themselves without fear of harassment.

5. Reporting and Redressal Mechanism:

• Establishing a transparent, accessible, and robust mechanism for reporting and addressing complaints of sexual harassment, ensuring confidentiality, impartiality, and timely resolution.

6. Training and Capacity Building:

• Training faculty, staff, and student representatives to recognize, prevent, and address incidents of sexual harassment, enhancing their ability to handle such situations effectively and sensitively.
