HOPE (Hold On Pain Ends) is an extension Program of the institution trying to find backward people who need help or advice.
Education is not just acquiring knowledge and obtaining degrees and recognition but using the knowledge gained for the benefit of society at large. Social responsibility and inclusiveness form an integral part of the graduation process. Instilling social responsibility in students helps them to realize the social and economic disparities in society. There are many socially and economically backward people around us and it is the duty of every citizen to find them and move forward economically and socially. As such social commitment is declining in the new generation, the college has set up a project called Hope to help them understand the importance of social service.
The college takes many initiatives to develop social responsibility among students through HOPE
The college is located in a rural area and there are numerous homeless families, who are economically poor and need immediate attention. Realizing the need to help them, the college NSS Unit initiated a house construction program with an aim of constructing at least a house and handing it over to the deserving family. NSS unit identifies the most deserving family by communicating with the college community, people’s representatives, and the local community. NSS PO and representatives from both students and faculty visit the family concerned and ensure their claim to the program. Two houses were constructed and handed over to poor people in the surroundings.

It has been shown to provide comfort to many patients, including those with cancer, kidney transplants, and bone marrow transplants. The money was raised by collecting directly from the students and organizing a food fest.
During the outbreak that frightened the public for more than two years, college students volunteered as selfless servants. . When the online class started, special counseling classes were organized under the Psychology Department for the students who were suffering from mental stress. Necessary equipment like masks, gloves, sanitizers, etc. was handed over to the Primary Health Center at Angadipuram Grama Panchayat, where the college is located.
